Add Google Analytics tracking values to URLS posted by the [Twitter Tools](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/twitter-tools/) plugin.

== Installation ==

**You must** already be using the [Twitter Tools](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/twitter-tools/) plugin to post to twitter when you make a new blog entry. 

1. Upload the Plugin to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Campaign/Source/Medium data will start to show in your Google Analytics account.

The plugin sets the following Google Analytics Tags:
+ utm_source : twitter
+ utm_medium : twitter
+ utm_campaign : twitter

= Why should I use this plugin? =

Generally hits from twitter will show up in Google Analytics as "Direct Traffic" - which means you can't measure the effectiveness of your Twitter profile. Tagging your traffic lets you measure the hits coming from Twitter effectively - see my [original post](http://www.leewillis.co.uk/tracking-twitter-traffic/) on the subject for more information.
